Financial pundits calculate that almost every American household is bearing between $4,000 and $9,000 worth of credit card debt alone! It seems there are few people who live within their means anymore. Today's spendthrift has no time for a budget that might restrict a purchase. Budgets might appear outmoded, but the fact remains: budgets do have benefits:
